<description>Thank You Mr. Mozilo for your one liner:

"You do not know who is swimming naked until the tide goes out."

<description>Regarding the collapse of Countrywide stock:

"Chief Executive Angelo Mozilo sold more than $130 million in company stock during the first half of this year.

.... to reduce his stake in the company and diversify his personal investments in an orderly way ahead of his retirement, scheduled for December 2009. The options were awarded to him 'in lieu of cash,' Mr. Mozilo said, and were a tax-efficient way for the company to pay him."

How about the millions of people who will lose retirement nest eggs and homes from this Grand Larceny of $130 million. (A recent article claimed that 50% of Americans have less than $15,000 in a retirement account.)

Not only an outright robbery from individuals but a Three-Card Monte in Legal Tax Fraud from manipulation of the stock. Did Mr. Mozilo know of the problems at Countrywide or was he out on a yacht having fun while the company ran aground.

$130 million the first half of one year? How about a retirement at a Fine Federal Prison and charging Mr. Mozilo $13 million a year for special treatment? Food flown in from the best Homeless Shelters in the nation and clothing from Goodwill.

No, I do not and have never owned shares in Countrywide or any lending institution.

<description>Overtime Class Action Investigation &#124; Countrywide Financial

If you were employed by Countrywide Financial as a mortgage loan officer, processor, originator, or consultant (and then laid-off) you might want to contact some overtime class action attorneys investigating various employment issues, including unpaid wages and overtime:

<description>Nice blog entry, Alex! Joan isn't the host anymore, and all the designers are new too. So we'll see what we get! (assuming we make the cut... HGTV is now making the local production company provide videotapes of the prospective "cast" members.)</description>
